Here's the Eventbrite link to book for this Drug Science event, which is due to run from 4.00 to 6.00 this Tuesday. The description states: "Following on from the success of Drug Science’s first event showcasing the work of women in psychedelics, we are delighted to present the second event in this series on Tuesday 19th January 2021 at 4-6PM GMT.

The format is 10 minute presentations within two themed 55 min sessions. The first is chaired by Dr Meg Spriggs from the Imperial Centre for Psychedelic Research and will focus on clinical research. This will feature: Dr Sara Tai clinical psychologist and expert in psychotherapy in clinical trials of psychedelic medicine: Dr Katrin Preller an expert in the neurobiology of psychedelics, currently working on a clinical trial of psilocybin for alcohol use disorder. We finish the first session with a Q&A featuring Michelle Baker-Jones, psychotherapeutic counsellor and Leonie, a patient from Psilodep 1, the first Imperial clinical trial for depression in which Michelle was a guide.

The second session, as before, is on fieldwork and will be chaired by Dr Anne Schlag, Head of Research at Drug Science. This session features: Prof Nicole Buchanan a psychologist and expert in gender equality; Dr Kate Pate neurophysiologist, director of research at Heroic Hearts Project (USA) and combat trauma expert and; Sophia Vasiliou of Awakened Potential who has successfully completed a 3-year apprenticeship with a Shipibo shaman at the Ayahuasca foundation in the Peruvian Amazon. She will explain how she is bringing what she learned there to psychedelic healing in the West."
