FIVE guide: Pharmacology & drug interactions of 5-Meo-DMT

Ben Malcolm, the excellent 'Spirit Pharmacist', has produced this freely downloadable guide. He writes: "5-MeO-DMT is a short-acting and naturally occurring tryptamine psychedelic with powerful entheogenic effects. Interest in use has been skyrocketing in recent years as celebrities endorse 'smoking Toad venom' has profoundly healing and researchers scramble to develop the next wonder drug for mental health conditions.  While 5-MeO-DMT shares much pharmacology with other classic tryptamine psychedelics (psilocybin, DMT, LSD) it has notable differences leading to changes in drug interaction potential, particularly with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).  This guide was put together in a collaborative effort with F.I.V.E. to inform and educate persons interested in 5-MeO-DMT about the pharmacology, drug interaction risks, potential for Serotonin Toxicity, and some risk management or stratification tools when it comes to considering other serotonergic substances."
