Despite promising research in the field of Psychiatry in the 1950s, Psychedelics fell out of favour for decades after they were made illegal in 1966. Only recently have researchers begun investigating the therapeutic potential of these substances to treat a range of conditions such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and addictions.
