Survey of those practising psychedelic-assisted therapy
Imperial College, London write: "As clinical trials continue to validate the efficacy of psychedelic-assisted therapy (PAT) for the treatment of mental health conditions, researchers must also be able to determine the PAT approaches and models most suitable for the psychedelic drug and population under examination. This work would be better informed by a deeper understanding of the variety of PAT practices and approaches currently being applied in Western settings; however, very little information has been collected thus far on the methods used in non-research settings. This study aims to reconcile this knowledge gap by surveying PAT practitioners on the dimensions of their treatment that vary across the field, such as dosages and session durations. This input will help us develop a better understanding of the landscape of PAT approaches and strengthen the methods used in future psychedelic trials. The survey will only ask for information with direct relevance to the study, and all data gathered will be used to inform our analysis. Survey administration and data collection will be handled by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) compliant Alchemer platform and only accessible to the research team. The survey does not ask any questions that may be personally identifiable and collects no IP addresses. The research team will keep your data safe and secure and will also follow all privacy rules."
