Jen Wood

Jen Wood is a coach, psychotherapist, supervisor and wellbeing consultant with over 25 years of guiding people home to themselves.

Before establishing her private practice, Jen Wood Wellbeing, she led services in palliative care, carer support and family support centres, bringing deep compassion and insight to her work.

Her approach is deeply rooted in Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) and Compassionate Mind Training, helping individuals cultivate inner warmth, resilience and self-acceptance. Drawing on a wide range of modalities, Jen partners with people on an inner journey of self-discovery and introspection as they reconnect with their true nature.

With lived experience of a late diagnosis of neurodivergence, she has a special interest in supporting those who think and experience the world differently. Her work is trauma-informed, neuroaffirmative and centred on creating a safe, supportive space for personal growth, transformation and healing. On retreat, she leads breathwork, meditation, generative trance, ceremony and incorporates compassionate inquiry and supportive touch.

Outside of work, Jen finds joy in walking Scotland’s parks, beaches and hillsides with her Labradors. She also loves to dance and knit socks - though not at the same time.
