Lin Harrison

Lin brings nearly 30 years’ experience as a psychotherapist, offering a grounded, warm, and intuitive presence.

Based in Sheffield, she is Clinical Lead for a Specialist Psychotherapy Service in the NHS and has long worked with complex trauma in settings including rape crisis centres, domestic abuse projects, HIV/AIDS organisations, and suicide prevention.

A Gestalt therapist with additional training in EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and DBT, Lin completed the PsyEdu Professional Certificate in Psychedelic Practice in 2025 and will soon join a clinical trial into psilocybin-assisted therapy for treatment-resistant depression. Her own legal psychedelic retreat with PHP was life-changing and deeply affirming.

She is also one of the first UK facilitators of the Gathering Groups Psilocybin-Assisted Group Therapy programme — a transformational, structured twelve-week process that includes a two-night psilocybin mushroom retreat, supporting well-being through thoughtful education, careful preparation, and deep integration.

Queer identity is central to Lin’s life and work. She lives with her beloved ginger cat, Mr Jones, and loves sea swimming, campervan adventures, and good food. She brings depth, humour, and a fierce tenderness that helps others feel safe, seen, and supported.
