Dr. Niki Petrocchi
Niki, is a psychologist, psychotherapist and trainer in Compassion Focused Therapy.
An Associate Professor of Psychology and author of numerous scientific publications on compassion and psychophysiology, she integrates evolutionary psychology, contemplative practice and imagery-based work to help people meet themselves with courage, clarity and warmth.
As a trans person, Niki brings a lived understanding of how compassion can support transformative self-validation - especially for the parts of ourselves that long to emerge and be seen. She is deeply attuned to LGBTQ+ experiences and to the healing power of creating inner spaces of safeness, dignity, and belonging.
A strong advocate for the thoughtful use of psychedelic-assisted therapy, she believes that expanded states, held with compassion and science, can open access to deeper wisdom and integration. Her work is grounded, relational, and guided by a heartfelt commitment to helping people reconnect with their wholeness.
